BUDDIES. BROS. HOMIES. AMIGOS. PIZZA. NINTENDO. WOO WOO WOO! LET’S GO!

Don’t we all love the StarKids? Who doesn’t love a theatre company that traverses the galaxy for intergalactic travels to Pigfarts (in spandex this time!)? Everyone.

HMB had an amazing plot that was accompanied by fantastic songs that you’ll be singing all over the place. Although, you may not want to sing “To Be A Man” everywhere you go.

Joe Walker took his turn as the leading man in this musical, finally showcasing his ability to sing, dance and steal the show (as well as Superman’s thunder). If you haven’t seen this comedic spoof of Batman and the other Justice League heroes yet, then make your way over to YouTube! StarKid fan or not, you’ll enjoy this musical, because it’s “Nerd Approved!”

Hello nerds! Saturday we spent all day studying for AP Tests and as a reward for frying our brains we decided to go see this lovely movie. In short, it was absolutely fantastic. MIND BLOWN.

We’d definitely, without question, give it five stars. It gave a perfect balance of action and comedy (along with a few bromances here and there). Our favorites would be Captain America and Iron Man, along with the undeniable bromance they share.

The plot was solid, the special effects were amazing and who can resist men in capes and spandex? We recommend that you fly to your nearest movie theater and see it as soon as possible.

Today is the two month anniversary of our JMOMSLA Experience, which is a perfectly ironic thing since we just started this blog on that anniversary. Overall JMOMSLA was a totally awesome (yes, I had to go there) experience!

The show included skits that we remember two months later. They varied from iPhone commercials to Snape having a job interview, along with Doctor Who and A Very Potter Musical references. We were practically falling out of our chairs laughing. Even our friend, who is not a StarKid fan, who attended with us, loved the show.

The meet and greet after the show was also a fantastic opportunity. We met Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal, Tessa Netting, Brant Cox, Devin Lytle, Curt Mega, and of course Joe Moses. We also managed to see Darren Criss in the balcony above the GA seating, and also saw Lily Marks and Evanna Lynch on the street outside of the meet and greet. We know that sounds sketchy, but it was cooler than you could even imagine. It was like having your childhood standing less than two feet in front of you.

We would buy tickets to see it again in a second! The show is returning to New York, so get your tickets now if you have the chance. It’s relatively inexpensive, but definitely worth every penny. It’s also what we would call “Nerd Approved!”

Prior to opening this blog we both attended JMOMSLA (and went to school the next day extremely and excrutiatingly tired). We figured that despite it being a past event, we’d post our Nerd Approved experience!

A photo set will be posted shortly!

We plan to have a Q & A with the StarKids at this Nerd Approved event! We both are lucky enough to have Crystal Skull tickets. Afterward we will post a review of the event and our Q & A. Stay tuned, nerds!
